This year, I attended my first Manchester Pride Parade with Kennel Klub North. It was amazing to march in the parade with 140 Pups, Pet players, Handlers, and Furries walking together.
We were between the Latex and Leather Pride groups flying flags and displaying banner and signs.
People in the crowd were engaging with us and giving us high fives with a contagious energy. It was a wonderful reminder that kink belongs to Pride. People need to see that there are many realities and individuals who fight for their right to express themselves.
As a Kinkster and Pet player who is also Trans, to see so much support for Trans people in Manchester and also at the other Prides, is a refreshing feeling when we read about the increase of transphobic and homophobic hate.
Thank you Manchester, Kennel Klub North for organizing the pup group and the people who joined us for an amazing day.
