The first Mr Puppy UK was elected in Birmingham on 21 November 2015 at the Mr Puppy UK 2015 Contest held at Pup Social.
This was the inaugural contest, and we had to build everything from the ground up. Fortunately, we had lots of help from across the community, and so together we did it!
Hosted by Sister Jacqui Moff of the Helping Hand, from the Manchester Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, and Pup Diesel, from the Mr Puppy Team, the Mr Puppy UK 2015 Contest was judged by a panel of five distinguished judges:
- Paul Ciantar, Canadian Leather Man 2004, Mr Leatherman Toronto 2003
- Max Samauth, Mr International Rubber 2015
- Pup Kriszly, Mr Puppy Europe 2015
- Dave, The Kinksters
- The panel was led by Brock, as Head Judge and Tally Master.
For our very first contest in 2015, we welcomed seven contestants! We were thrilled so many pups came to support us and to enjoy a day pupping out and competing for the UK’s first new title. Filling the contest day with a range of activities, including a dog agility run and a series of freestyle performances that included sniffing out chocolate buttons and stand-up comedy, we were impressed at how much fun everyone seemed to be having. What a way to begin something special and new!
After an exciting day, the judges were pleased to announce the following results:

- Pup Minty – Second Prize and Runner-Up & Puppy Congeniality
- Pup Oakleigh – Third Prize and 2nd Runner-Up
